By accessing or using Quillsmith ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Quillsmith is an AI-powered writing tool that helps users generate, edit, and export short stories and other creative content. The Service uses third-party AI models to generate text based on user-provided prompts and parameters.
You own the content you create. All stories, text, and creative works generated through your use of the Service belong to you. You are free to publish, sell, distribute, or modify this content as you see fit.
You grant Quillsmith a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating, storing, and exporting your stories).
Content generated by the Service is produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all generated content before publication.
If you publish content on platforms that require AI disclosure (such as Amazon KDP), you are solely responsible for complying with those platform's policies regarding AI-generated or AI-assisted content.
You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Free plan users are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page. We may modify pricing with 30 days notice.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
